Flea Market Finds

we have a very early morning mid-week flea market in a town about an hour away, we try to go at least once a week
This is my recent find there, the star door knocker will be used on my front door and the other stars that go with it will be used in our home as well, not sure what I will do with them yet. Any ideas? shout em out.
these spoons, well ya'll have seen the garden stakes? I want to try em. the set of dishes was just lovely with pink roses, I was thinking good for a mosaic project. and the little pink glass candy dish I could just not pass up
of course we also bought boiled peanuts, cantaloupe, watermelon, peaches, potatoes, and plums. I just love small town flea markets where the produce is grown in peoples back yards, heck in the south we put em right out in the front yard too. :)

Good Finds Today

Today was a good shopping day, not many yard sales, but good finds just the same. I went to our largest yard sale in town, they charge $2.00 to get in. I ended up being mostly new stuff, But I did find these boots there and the cute pink melamine in the back, they have cute white flowers on them.

Among my catch of the day: tin of buttons, lot of watches, tons of keys and a few locks, Pyrex, linen, melamine, this cute heart silver tray, a vintage 'honey' bucket, two coat racks

The last stop of the day was this cute little old lady who kept getting side tracked, it took me over 30 minutes to get my stuff and leave, but she was so sweet, the linen and patterns came from her, she said most of the linens where made by her mother.

Friday's Finds

The hubby was home early today and suggested we do something fun together, well of course I said yard sales, being a Friday there wasn't much going on, but we did locate a few.
Most of these goodies came from the same sale, a man that used to run an antique store and did some flea market booths. I enjoy getting out with the hubby for some sales, he's a talker and finds out things about people I never would.
Great finds of the day include these adorable chic frames, a lot of vintage buttons and wooden thread bobbins, a wind-up clock, too cute outlet cover for the house, shoe clips and this large wood shelf, the man said his wife bought it because it was unusual and she never used it, I will surely us it, very shabby. Hubby just had to have the washtub, which he says he will use on his fishing trips, that is if I don't find a use for it before then.
Of course with the hubby along we bought some tools and some fishing poles with reels, not sure his plan for these yet.
