Shiloh The Entrance

I just love the sound of a slamming screen door. I saw this wooden unpainted unstained pair during my last junkin escapade, I decided if they were still there on the way back I would get them. When I pulled up they were in very good condition, the only thing that would have made them better is if they were chippy with layers of paint like my doors are. But at $5 a piece into the back of my truck and home they went.
They are pictured here at Shiloh, you can see the newly poured concrete floor, the unfinished inside walls. Still a long way to go, but we've also come so far.

Here are the doors that will be used in the side entrance, the screen doors will go over these, so they need more character then they have now.

Unusual Find

I saw these posted on Craigslist and made my youngest son drive with me over an hour away to pick it up. I just love the trio of bins, could be used in the kitchen for recycling, in the wash room for sorting laundry, not sure yet, but they will look great doing whatever they will be doing.  They are stamped 1920 NY, I wonder what they were originally used for.
